Urgent Repairs - Outside Business Hours

If you have an urgent repair during business hours please contact our office immediately on (03) 9817 6151

If you have an urgent repair outside business hours please contact our staff by telephone on 0418 501045.

The types of repairs that are deemed urgent in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act are:

  • burst water service
  • blocked or broken toilet system
  • serious roof leak
  • gas leak
  • dangerous electrical fault
  • flooding or serious flood damage
  • serious storm or fire damage
  • failure or breakdown of any essential service or appliance provided by a landlord or agent for hot water, water, cooking, heating, or laundering
  • failure or breakdown of the gas, electricity or water supply
  • any fault or damage in the premises that makes the premises unsafe or insecure
  • an appliance, fitting or fixture that is not working properly and causes a substantial amount of water to be wasted
  • a serious fault in a lift or staircase.

Should you have an urgent after hours repair as defined above and ONLY if efforts to reach staff have failed, according to the Residential Tenancies Act you can authorise an urgent repair for up to $1800

Should you need to contact plumbing & electrical trades after hours please contact one of our preferred trades below before trying any other trades. Should our preferred trades not be contactable for any reason please note the date/time of your call to our preferred trades (for our reference) before calling any other contractors.
